We are Tiemen Lub and Jurian Mol, and we are the founders of Tierun. We are two young men fascinated by the cultivation of agricultural produce.

Jurian comes from a farm in the beautiful village of Kattendijke. Back home on the farm, Jurian has seen how the agricultural sector has been struggling in recent years and how prices have been falling. He wants to change this, and in his search for a solution, he met Tiemen Lub.

Tiemen Lub is an ambitious entrepreneur who is keen to share in Jurian Mol’s enthusiasm. Tiemen sees an opportunity to offer the produce online himself, providing people with truly fresh, high-quality products. Tiemen came up with an idea: to grow the produce themselves to guarantee the highest possible quality, and then sell and transport it to the customer themselves.

This is how Tierun came into being.
